In Bisceglie, near Bari in Italy, Giovanni was born in the lift of the local hospital.
13th April 2009, a woman and her husband run to their doctor because of a possible indigestion after Easter meals. The doctor announced her she was pregnant. But she didn’t know it. The birth was imminent, so they run to the near hospital. There, a lift breakdown forced her to give birth in the lift. The ASL Bat affirmed that there was not any breakdown at the lift. Perhaps we never know the truth. Luckily, little Giovanni weighs 2 kilos and 700 grams and he has a very good health.
